Meeting place: Macdonalds at West Coase Park

GAMES CARNIVAL!

Hey Purity!

Today was the GAMES CARNIVAL! So some of us were REALLY ANXIOUS about it. We didn't know what to expect and we were asked to play games that we have not practiced in a while. So just let me announce a certain game that made the class proud (in case you guys didn't know)

WE GOT 2ND PLACE FOR TABLE TENNIS!

I'm not really sure who are the players. But I think they are Chang Ming , Genevieve , Yueh Pin and Thong Xin. If i am NOT WRONG.

So anyways I think our class really showed our class spirit today. I'm nto sure if EVERYONE was there during these times but most of you guys were. I was EXTREMELY proud of our class.

1st :
THE CHEERING
We cheered loudly for every purity team that was playing. From floorball , frisbee to soccer. (Sorry Captain's Ball and Table Tennis , your locations were far and we couldn't leave due to our matches). Even though Captain's Ball , Table Tennis locations were far , you guys still came and cheered us. We also cheered a few cheers like the : Who we are one and the P to the U one! Bimbo one is not included for it has nothing to do with purity. We also cheered for the players who were doing really well on the field.

2nd :
THE UNITY
Even though it was raining , we didn't leave the frisbee area and we all played frisbee. It was a really jovial time where we all stood in a huge circle and played frisbee , training Vianna and Joelle. We even did the bimbo cheer , which I sort of regret teaching you guys for I know I'm going to be hearing it pretty often now. But really , it was cool.

So yeah these 2 really made me proud of our class today. Here are a few people I wish to commend for excellent skills on the field. (Sorry only Soccer , Floorball and Frisbee for those were the only matches I watched)

Valerie (Soccer) , Stephanie (Soccer) , Mei Lin (Frisbee) , Jolene (Soccer)

Valerie : She did a head butt and was always like the first person to charge towards the ball. She was always near the ball and never failing to try to kick the ball to the opponent's goal. She also scored a goal which led the team to win in the end.

Stephanie : She was also always near the ball and always trying to hit a goal (very close!). She even beared with the pain after an opponent kicked a soccer ball into her face for the sake of the game. She was a true fighter today.

Mei Lin : She did not have any knowledge of frisbee but managed to play it well with good catches and throwing skills. She always gave the team some points to try to improve our game.

Jolene : I'm not commending her on her soccer (she was the goalie that just stood there cause the ball never came to her goal although she did try to kick the ball to the opponent's goal alot) but for her effort. Even though she was in the soccer team , when the frisbee team was short handed she immediately lent us a hand and in the end we won. When the Table Tennis girls needed an extra player she also volunteered.

In short , I'm am VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY PROUD of our class.

Dear 1P,
Even though I only got to see you gaiz on the camp itself cos Sec 4s couldn't be absent from class the whole week like the Sec 3s, for a short 2 day camp, Idk, it was an amazing feeling to be with 1P (: You know the whole time I was away on course, I was thinking about you all! (:
Even up till today, I'm not sure if I can match the names to the faces of 1P'ians! :( And for that, I'm still terribly sorry. :C
Y'knw all the small little gestures, it rly adds this little sunshine to my memories and when I look back, I know that being a PSL, despite being tiring & hard, it's rly rly worthwhile :D Oh gosh, 9 Jan-10 Jan is playing like a silent film in my mind right now.

I remember, after campfire, around 2am after bathing and all, the 4 PSLs were writing notes to you guys but the teacher had to force us to go sleep in 15mins :C And again, we're sorry that the notes we wanted to give you didn't surface.

And on CCA Fair day, at one point in time I was the only PSL left with the class cos the others had duties. I rmb being awkward (even if you didnt see it) cos, afterall, the time we spent tgt wasn't much. But I've still gotta thank 1P for being such a wonderful class that didn't have conflicts (as seen in 1U that time), for being so cooperative that we all didn't have to panic about anything at all (:

I could have gone on forever because the memories that you all gave me, simply too many wonderful ones. Nevertheless, throughout these few months, I've kept it all deep in my heart (:

I don't know what goals you all will have at this point in your life, but I knew since Primary 5 that I was going to be a journalist, or something similar. So that really helped in many decision makings, and it rly steers your life to a clear direction. (: Even if you're only Sec 1s now, (it sounds like some old guy preaching but,) trust me, it really helps to know where you want to go :D For example, don't take physics if you know 1. You suck in it, 2. You're not going to do anything related to it AT ALL. Because Physics = Maths. And if I chose Phy over Bio, I'ld have died. (: So yeah. I'm not a rly good motivator etc, but all I want to say is, Sec 1 year may be (almost) over, but your friendships MUST stay true. You've still got 1 more year to find out who your best/true friends really are, because in Sec 3 & 4, they're all you've got (:

Hello One Purity;DD

A few of us were thinking that we should and we will have a class outing for a picnic! Picnics are really fun and we can get to mingle with each other and stuff.

If you all agree, that picnic is a good idea, we can proceed with the organising and stuff. The councillors will perhaps organise mass games for bonding (trust us, it'll be fun)! and maybe different comittees will be in charge of differnet things like food and logistics and stuff blabla.

Anyway it is really difficult to communicate through this but tomorrow i'll tell you more about this and we'll fix the date! Good idea?

Well. just study harder and jiayou! You all can do it if you put your heart into it and so continue to strive for what you can do. mmm, all the best for tomorrow's tingxie and friday's tesssttt on compre and then you can enjoy the pathetic one week holiday. But still, holidaysss!

Hello Purity!

Here are some updates!

1) The class shirt I have to get a new supplier. For I talked with Pan and since we did not know anyone who has ordered from them before , we did not go ahead. But don't fret , I'm getting the supplier's information from another class councillor. I'll try to make it as fast as possible for you guys okay. I know you guys have been waiting for a while for it. The money is with Pan , in case you guys need to know.

2) On Monday please come before 7.10 am . We are celebrating Teacher's Day right after assembly. Line up as per normal.

3) Thanks for all the active participation at the science centre! Hurhur , hope you guys had as much fun as I did! ^^b , in case you want to know , it is possible to do CIP there. Just check out their website okay!

We managed to get the 3rd place in the classroom deco award and we're all happy! Yay, our efforts are not wasted, and through this, i hope some of you learnt teamwork and the joy of working as a team(:
About today's SINGSPORE at STNICKS, I bet we all felt a sense of belonging to spore(: whee. And hope the chocolates and jellybeanos are nice to eat and suck on!
Let's work hard for more awards, like the 'cleanest class'. Uhhuh we can win that right? And very good job everybody for wearing all RED TODAY! Thanks for cooperating with the councillors. Even though some kenna caught for white tops instead of red, but the effort is there.

Hi purity. I am here to say something regarding our class's noise. I truly hope that, the councillors will think before they scold the whole class. Even though we might be noisy, we are at least not dead, and teachers don't hate us. The councillors also contribute to the noise level. So, please do not scold us if you do not want to scold yourself as well.

Dear Purity,

Sorry for my harsh post that day. I think I did it in a fit of anger mixed with all the stress of the competition.But we're not trying to be high and mighty (I am sincerely sorry if you think we are).
I also agree with the points that we contributed to the noise in some way of another.But actually , this may sound very weird , but thank you for highlighting those points out.Cause I think the feedback is good , in a weird way , and I'll work on it.I'm also sorry , if you felt as though we are continuously scolding you guys.Again , sorry , I never knew you guys felt like that.

Also , concerning the class noise/whatever/whatever,I honestly think its normal for a class to complain when they have to give money.Cause I would too , sometimes.

This is regarding the malay dance inter-class competition:D
I've kind of chosen some really nice angklung songs:

2. Chan Mali Chan (if we use this, we'll take the front part only or someparts. Cause it is like 'copying' the school's one)
3. Suri Ram (I LOVE THAT! SO WE'LL PROBABLY BE USING THAT)

My preference is a catchy song(: then we can dance easier and get more points(from what the instructions say). Closing date for the 'voting' is sunday. I'll inform you on monday back at school! Is that ohkay for all of you? Please please do 'vote' for the song you want and I hope everyone will participate enthusiastically and not be so self-conscious/reserved. As long as we work together and do our best we'll win this okay?

This is SARAH here! (:

I got to brief you on something kays.

So like the monitors became councillors.

And we got our ties and stuff.

The monitors in Purity are in charge on like ... attendance,light offing and such.

So here as some basic rules i would like to go through.

1)Those at the side , please lock the doors for your fellow classmates! (:
2)The first person that gets into the classroom , on the lights and fans.
3)Those sitting in the centre front , etc Wen Xin / Eening , please pull down the screen.
4)Please be proactive in cleaning the whiteboard when it is YOUR duty.
5)Please don't steal other people's duty.
6)After exams please push back all the tables.
7)Take out whatever you need for the lesson before it.
8)If you have any feedback , please raise your hand , and please don't think of the whiteboard as yours for you to draw or anything. Only subject representatives , teachers , and monitors , as well as the person in charge of the whiteboard cleaning should be writing on it/cleaning it.
9)Please get out of the classroom fast , and remember all the things to take before leaving the class.
10)Always wear the proper attire.No pregnant women! -.-
